Small Style - Week Five

 I don't know how these two do it, but they seem to always look like they fit together. While I still help Peyton pick out a few things, Ethan picks out his own outfits. And as far as I know he doesn't try and pick things out based on what Peyton is wearing.

As long as there is a picture on the shirt, Ethan is pretty content

With Peyton she loves tights! She much prefers them over socks. Her other big fav is choosing some of Ethan's old clothes, like this vest she is wearing.

On Peyton:
Sweater: Thrifted
Skirt: Carters
Shoes and tights: Gift

On Ethan:
Top: JOE Fresh {In stores right now}
Jacket: H&M
Jeans: Gap Kids

Small Style - Week Four {Shop Till She Drops}

I don't mean to be biased, ok maybe a little but is this little shopper not the cutest little girl with piggy tails you ever saw?! This week was the first week Peyton's hair was long enough that I could play around with her hair like this! With the first couple of weeks of spring, that means its time to go shopping! Because Mama's closest is already pretty full, we only needed a few small things, like some coloured tights.

So tired she tired to sleep in the elvator.

Onsie: Gift
Jacket: Thrifted
Pants: Mexx
Shoes: Gift

Its been a long time since I have posted fashion here on the blog. I thought I would post a few photos we took a while back. I have been posting mostly on my fashion blog. And since I have a lot of followers who follow both blogs, I try and not repeat. For a day though I will make an exception, since I loved this day so much!

We went out to the lake to look for some drift wood for a DIY project that I am working on. And like everything thing in our life, it turned into a photo opp and fashion post.

That aside the four of us had fun looking for drift wood. And I cannot wait to show you what I am working on!

Oh and while we were at the lake, we saw a movie being filmed. We do see this alot where we live, but this was our first time seeing a bigger budget movie being made.

I love holga photography, the imperfection in the photos makes this lens great for creating some fun art shots. I have been using this lens for a little over a month and I honestly have nothing bad to say about it. For a $16 find on Ebay its a little tough to look at this lens as a bad investment.

It took me a bit of time to get used to looking through the pinhole view, but once I stopped thinking my bangs or eyelashes were in my way I was good to go!

I took some shots to show using both program mode and manual mode. Using this lens in manual mode is easy. This lens has a set aperature of f/1.8 so all you really need to adjust is your ISO and shutter speed. Because the small opening will affect your exposure I highly recommend carrying around a light meter. I used the one on my IPhone and had good results.

All in all it will depend on what your personal taste is, if you like the program settings or the manual settings.
